Stacey Solomon hits back at the ‘pebble police’ by making a stunning stone display

She was warned by her followers after she took pebbles from the beach during her getaway this week.

And Stacey Solomon put them to good use on Tuesday as she used her creative skills to turn the rocks into an arty display.

The Loose Women star, 30, laughed off accusations from the ‘pebble police’ after sourcing the stones during her trip to Sidmouth with boyfriend Joe Swash, 38, and son Rex, one.

As she documented her creation on her Instagram stories, Stacey discussed where she had sourced the pebbles.

She said as she glued them together: ‘Took me so long to work out where they should all go. 

‘I even had to steal a couple of extra pebbles from Dave next door’s drive way.’

She then added: ‘Get excited pebble police. Pebble memory here we come.’ 

Stacey then signed one of the stones ‘Sidmouth 2020 as she finished her creation.

The former X Factor star said: ‘Finally worked it all out and then signed the bottom stone with where we were and the year so we never forget.’

The star then revealed her creation which showed the pebbles arranged to represent her, Joe and Rex.

She said: ‘I don’t know if it’s the music I’ve put over it or the hormones but I’m bawling my eyes out.’ 

On Sunday, Stacey was scared her staycation would come to an abrupt end as she joked that she might get arrested for ‘stealing’ the pebbles from the beach. 

The Loose Women host went hunting for fossils with Rex and Joe and laughed off accusations from her Instagram followers who said she will get locked up for taking stones home with her.

She enjoyed a day on the Devonshire coastline looking for rocks in a stylish coral pink jumpsuit and wide brimmed hat that she purchased in a charity shop. 

Stacey looked effortlessly chic as she enjoyed making memories on the beach with her family. 

Part of the day’s activities including hunting for fossils among the water pools and seaweed debris on the beach.

The TV presenter, posted a hilarious ‘fossil haul’ to her social media where she showcased her prized possessions and laughed at her new love for rocks.

Stacey was proud that she managed to find a few unique pebbles, but some of her social media followers decided to rain on her parade. 

They informed her that taking fossils from the beach is considered a crime and she could get in trouble.

Stacey laughed off the criticism and said: ‘A few of you are messaging me saying “Be careful Stace, you can be arrested for taking pebbles off the beach.” 

‘Well that’s a bummer, I just spent two hours collecting them bad boys!’

She continued to laugh at the comments and sarcastically said to Joe they will have to take them back: ‘We’re going to have to take them back, we have to it’s illegal, I’m not getting arrested by the pebble police, not on my holidays, I’ve got work tomorrow.’

Following the pebble stealing accusations, Stacey clarified with the local Heritage Coast Centre who confirmed it is completely acceptable to take some rocks home.
