German police have found the bodies of five children in a building in the town of Soligen, local media said today. 

The bodies were found at a private residence in the town, 20 miles from Cologne in western Germany. 

Authorities in nearby Wuppertal are investigating the children’s deaths, according to German media. 

Details about who discovered the bodies or how the children died have not yet been revealed.
