Diane Kruger cuts a smart figure as she films her new TV series Swimming With Sharks in Los Angeles

She recently spoke about how she was ‘excited and grateful to be working again after the coronavirus pandemic paused filming.

And Diane Kruger appeared to be in good spirits as she chatted to a crew member for her TV series Swimming With Sharks during a shoot in LA on Thursday.

The actress, 44, cut a smart figure in a black pencil skirt and long grey cardigan as she enjoyed a quick break in-between scenes.

Diane kept things low-key in a pair of black strappy sandals and completed her look with a high-neck cream shirt. 

She tied her blonde locks back into a sleek bun and added a full face of makeup to accentuate her pretty features.

The mother-of-one also ensured to follow Covid-19 guidelines and don a mask as she took a moment to chat to the crew member in-between scenes.

Diane, who plays female Hollywood studio head Joyce in the upcoming show, also adhered to social distancing by standing some space away from her colleague.

The Quibi x Lionsgate dramatic series, which is an adaptation of the 1994 George Huang film by the same name, also stars Kiernan Shipka and Donald Sutherland.   

The short-form show will be under ten minutes an episode, and puts a female spin on the 1994 film that starred Frank Whaley and Kevin Spacey. 

Last Saturday Diane gave fans another glimpse into filming as she worked on a mock red carpet scene.

Taking to Instagram to share her enthusiasm to be back at work, the actress posted a selfie as she waited for her scene in the Hollywood fixture, TCL Chinese Theatre.

Staying in line with COVID-19 filming protocol, Diane sat far from her cast and crew and wore a mask as she snapped a a quick pic between scenes. 

She wrote: ‘I’m excited and grateful to be back at work, to still have a job, to be healthy and now more than ever I’m so appreciative of the wonderful crew and cast that make me feel safe so we all get to do what we love.’  

Diane spent lockdown with her partner Norman Reedus and their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Sunday.

The Hollywood couple gave fans a rare glimpse at the cute toddler in September as they took to Instagram to belatedly mark National Daughters Day.

Diane shared an adorable photo of her little girl in a leopard-print dress, as she carried her stuffed Minnie Mouse out the front door.

She captioned the snap: ‘How did I miss that it was #nationaldaughtersday yesterday? My little girl, you are my light not just today but every day, the best thing I’ve ever done, my greatest accomplishment.’

The National Treasure actress added: ‘Keep finding your way and please grow out this molar already so I can sleep at night again.’

Norman, 51, popped up in the comments section to write ‘My 2 angels’ with two red heart emojis. 

The Boondock Saints star and Diane welcomed their daughter back in November of 2018, after they starred together in the 2015 film Sky and began dating the next year.

He also shares son Mingus Lucien, 20, with Victoria’s Secret Angel and Nylon co-founder Helena Christensen, 51, whom he dated from 1998 to 2003.
