Bebe Rexha and Doja Cat time travel as they struggle with their own jealousy in music video

Bebe Rexha enlisted the help of Doja Cat for the lead single off her upcoming second album.

Their song, Baby, I’m Jealous was released Friday simultaneously with the song’s video that saw the two hitmakers traveling through time.

The singers were joined by Nikita Dragun, Charli D’Amelio and Avani Gregg briefly for the video shot in Los Angeles on September 23.

Collaboration: Bebe Rexha and Doja Cat’s song, Baby, I’m Jealous, was released Friday simultaneously with the song’s video that saw the two hitmakers traveling through time

The video opens with Bebe (born Bleta Rexha) and Doja (born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini) wearing excessive outfits at a Chinese restaurant with friends.

With newly died red hair, the Albanian songstress wore a diamond covered bralette, plenty of thick layered diamond necklaces creating a chest covering and thick diamond bracelets.

A yellow feathered wrap hung off her shoulders, as she chatted with friends that included the Juicy hitmaker, TikTok stars, and Youtube sensation.

Bebe shocked fans when she posted photos dying her platinum bleached hair bright red, and the color seemed to add to her style in the music video.

Meanwhile, Doja dons an extremely low-cut red top, with a thick diamond choker necklace, and purple hair.

Bebe scrolls through her phone at the dinner table and drafts a text message to her boyfriend for being ‘shady’ on social media with other girls’ pictures.

Her friends talk her out of sending the text message and the women entertain Bebe’s idea that living in a past decade or century would have been easier for relationships.

She expresses that she struggles with jealousy and having a love/hate relationship with social media since it can make her feel unstable in a relationship.

One she opens the cookie she is snatched through a bright light, and starts traveling through time.

Though her friends remain at the table, Doja does join her in the scenes from the past.

Her first stop is London in 1969, where she fully embraces the go-go dancing era, in a white halter mini dress, thick white headband, and high bumped hair.

The song begins with her time jump and she sings ‘Went from beautiful to ugly / ‘Cause insecurity told me you don’t love me / All it takes is a girl above me / On your timeline to make me nothing.’

‘I’m jelly, jelly, jelly, jelly, jelly on a plate / Sunny side up, I got egg on my face / Waste trainer for a tinier waist / But I can’t help it if I like the way food taste,’ she sang.

The Say So singer seems to take on a tone of being done dealing with relationship drama as she sings ‘But he ain’t even worth none of your time / It’s such a drag / I’m not being spiteful, but he’s trash / Won’t be the last / To let you know, but he gon’ show you.’

Bebe released her debut album Expectations in 2018 and in July she posted on social media heavily suggesting her second album was complete.

She wrote:  ‘I can not wait for you to hear it. It’s just that we don’t feel like it’s right to release an album during these times. As soon as The world is in a better place we will release it alll. [sic] We are just waiting for when the time feels right. I promise you it is worth the wait.
