Hugh Sheridan appears to be in good spirits as he steps out in Sydney’s Bondi… just one month after false-positive coronavirus test result

Hugh Sheridan broke down in tears last month after being forced to quarantine for a week following a false-positive coronavirus test.

But on Friday, the Australian actor was all smiles as he stepped out in Sydney Bondi for a stroll.

The 35-year-old appeared to be in good spirits as he had an animated conversation on his mobile phone.

He was dressed casually in a white T-shirt and a pair of black shorts and white sneakers.

Last month, Hugh revealed he had tested negative for COVID-19 after initially returning a positive test for the virus.

The Packed to the Rafters actor explained the doctors told him on that his result was actually a ‘false positive’.

He described the whole ordeal as a ‘rollercoaster of emotions’ and incredibly confusing.

The actor had previously revealed he had tested positive and that he’d somehow caught the deadly virus in transit from Los Angeles to Australia.

‘I’ve been quiet for the last few days because I’ve been feeling all the varied emotions about my positive Covid test. I haven’t felt like talking to anyone much yet,’ he wrote at the time.

Hugh had jetted into Australia from Los Angeles in mid-August, and at the time was forced to undergo a mandatory 14-day stint at a quarantine hotel.

At the time he admitted his mental health had suffered as a result of the diagnosis.

When he was released from his hotel quarantine after one week following the real results, he broke down in tears.
