She recently revealed she suffers from endometriosis, which affects between 10 and 20 percent of American women of childbearing age.

And Olivia Culpo continued to put female reproductive health front and center on Saturday, as she marked National Period Day.

The model, 28, reclined on her stairway in a lovely midriff-bearing olive green three-piece fleece set for the trio of photos, consisting of shorts, bra top and a robe.

‘Period poverty is a real thing that affects millions of women and breaking the stigma around female health and wellness helps continue a conversation that needs to be had for women around the world ❣️’ Culpo wrote alongside the images.

Olivia was also promoting Olly, who make products she said are ‘geared to support female health concerns and help remove the stigma around this discussion.’

‘Thanks @OllyNutrition for partnering with @ISupportTheGirls. We will be providing 50,000 women with products they need to stay clean and healthy,’ she added.

National Period Day, or Period Action Day, was on Saturday, launched in order to ‘celebrate and showcase the work of menstrual justice activists’ according to its website.

Period.org is a global non-profit organization that distributes free menstrual products to communities and women in need.

The group is ‘a youth-fueled nonprofit that strives to eradicate period poverty and stigma through service, education, and advocacy.’

Olivia, meanwhile, was very public last month with her physical health, when she discussed her endometriosis diagnosis.

And earlier this month, she revealed that she has an ovarian cyst after going to the hospital with pain on her right side.

It was then that the beauty queen admitted she had been ‘nervous’ to share the news of her endometriosis with her 4.7m followers.

Taking to Instagram, Olivia said: ‘Haven’t been feeling well. A lot of you know I have endo and the other day I had pain on my right side.

‘Went to the ER and hello ovarian cyst! I was hesitant to share this but when I opened up about endometriosis I was shocked to hear how many women could relate.’

The brunette beauty went on to tell her fans to join her in ‘normalizing conversation around reproductive health’.

She then asked if anyone has any tips on how to ease the pain caused by her cyst or if they knew any ‘natural remedies’ to help it reduce in size.

Last month, the Sports Illustrated model said she was using a ‘holistic approach’ to tackling her endometriosis, which is a long-term condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places.

Olivia said: ‘I’m trying to do the holistic route as of now. I want to try to see if I can figure some things out for myself, but we’ll see. It’s a journey.

‘Every month is different because I try different things every month. But I’ll definitely keep everybody posted on what works for me, and eventually having to get the surgery because it really depends. Everyone’s different.’
