They are said to have formed a close bond on the set of SAS Australia.

And now it has emerged that former Bachelorette star Ali Oetjen and Bachelor villain ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins shared some sizzling chemistry while filming the gruelling reality competition.

According to New Idea magazine, Ali, 34, is ‘keen to take her relationship with the former rugby player to the next level’ and become more than just friends.

‘Nick is definitely Ali’s type in every way,’ a ‘source’ allegedly told the publication. ‘I could totally see these two together.’

The pair both share a love of the outdoors, exercise and adventure.

Ali, who is now a wellness influence, recently split from her boyfriend Taite Radley, who she met and fell in love with on The Bachelorette.

Meanwhile, Nick, 32, is single after he recently denied rumours he was in a relationship with Sydney socialite Alexandra George.

Rumours first sparked that Nick and Ali shared a close bond on the set of SAS when pictures emerged of pair walking alongside each other during filming in the NSW Snowy Mountains back in August.

The pair seem to have forged a friendship on set of the endurance series, and have no doubt compared notes about their experiences on dating shows.

Nick and Ali both wore matching camouflage utility pants and grey bomber jackets.

They each carried heavy backpacks and were joined by several of their co-stars, including Jackson Warne, the son of retired cricketer Shane Warne, and former Love Island contestant Eden Dally.

Ali styled her long blonde locks in two braids, while Nick sported his trademark curly mop of hair and moustache.

Wearing black combat boots, Ali looked focused on where she was stepping as she trudged through bushland.

Meanwhile, Nick had similar a look of determination on his face as he made his way across the rugged terrain.

At one stage, the former rugby union player stripped off his jacket and T-shirt, giving onlookers a glimpse at his buff torso.

He changed into a long-sleeve grey T-shirt, before running along the sandbank of Lake Jindabyne.

At the same time, Ali climbed into an inflatable boat and crossed the lake, leaving Nick and her fellow competitors onshore.

Ali announced her split from gym owner Taite late last month, two years after they fell in love on The Bachelorette.

They announced their break-up on their respective Instagram accounts.

‘It is with the heaviest heart that we want to let everyone know that we have decided to take time apart in order to give each other space and time to fully focus on our own paths,’ Ali wrote.

‘We both love each other deeply and only want the best for each other and both want the ultimate happiness for each other and hopefully our paths will reconnect again soon.’

Meanwhile, Nick was recently linked to accessories designer Alexandra George, according to a report by The Daily Telegraph in June.

He later told Daily Mail Australia they weren’t dating and he was, in fact, single.

SAS Australia will follow 14 celebrities as they attempt the intense selection process for the elite Special Forces army unit.

Under the guidance of former Special Forces soldiers, they will have to endure both physical and psychological challenges.
