She splits her time between the US and the UK with her British director husband, Tom Ackerley.  

But it appears that Aussie actress Margot Robbie is missing home.

The star looked a little downcast as she stepped out for a stroll in London with a female friend.

The 30-year-old Wolf of Wall Street star wore a face mask as she went for a stroll in Chelsea, while her family remain on the Gold Coast amid the coronavirus pandemic.  

Margot was dressed casually in a pair of high-waisted blue jeans and a beige long sleeve top, which she teamed with a pair of leather boots.

She wore her blonde locks back in a low, messy bun and accessorised with gold jewellery, including earrings and a chain necklace. 

The blonde beauty was joined by a friend and their child, and Margot’s pup Boo Radley.

In an interview with Elle back in 2018, Margot admitted that she and Tom had initially decided to keep their romantic relationship to themselves.  

She said: ‘We kept it a secret. Because we weren’t really taking it seriously. “Oh, whatever, we’re just mates, we’re just mates.” And then… everyone found out.’

‘It was dramatic,’ she recalled of the moment her friends found out. ‘I’m not going into the details, but s**t hit the fan.

Margot hails from Queensland’s Dalby, but grew up on the Gold Coast. 

She was raised by her single mother, Sarie Kessler. 

In 2014, it was reported that Margot paid off her mother’s mortgage on her $490,000 Southport home as a gift for her 60th birthday.

Margot has always talked with great fondness of her mother and described her as ‘the sweetest person on earth.’
