Liam Hemsworth returns to social media after three-month absence to show off his muscles during a personal training session – and fans can’t help but notice his resemblance to Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine
Liam Hemsworth made a return to social media after a three-month absence on Tuesday, and he was back with a bang.
The 30-year-old posted a series of Instagram snaps which showed off his muscular form during a workout.
The actor gave fans a look at his training session with world-famous British adventurer and ultra-marathon sea swimmer Ross Edgley.

The pair worked out in an outdoor gym, with rolling hills in the background, on what was a beautiful day.
While a location was not tagged, it is believed Liam and Ross completed their Cross-Fit-inspired drill near the star’s home in Byron Bay.
‘Took it upon myself to teach @rossedgley how to train properly. With my help I see some real potential in him. Keep up the good work little guy,’ Liam teased in the caption.

Followers were quick to point out how similar Liam looked to the character Wolverine – played in the X-Men films by Aussie actor Hugh Jackman – in his pictures.
He was sporting a similar white singlet and shaggy appearance, as well as a similar hairstyle.
‘I see Wolverine,’ one follower commented while another added: ‘Looks like Wolverine with the same hair and the shirt’.

It’s the first glimpse followers have had of Liam in some time – the actor has remained absent from social media for the past three months.
His last Instagram post featured pictures and video from his day out at the beach with family members, and was shared on July 15.
The actor has kept a low profile since settling down with his new girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks, with the couple spending time together in Byron Bay.

They were spotted together for the first time in December last year as they enjoyed a lunch date in Byron Bay with Liam’s parents, Craig and Leonie Hemsworth. The pair confirmed their romance earlier this year.
Liam was previously married to pop star Miley Cyrus, known for her hits Can’t Be Tamed and Wrecking Ball, but the pair quietly separated in June last year.
The former couple did not publicly confirm their break-up until two months later.
In March, a source told Us Weekly that Liam ‘feels more at home with Gabriella than he did with Miley and feels like he can be his complete self without any drama’.
