Billie Eilish shares a post about ‘normalizing real bodies’ after body shamers criticize her online

Billie Eilish hit back at body shamers after being criticized online for wearing an uncharacteristically casual outfit earlier this week.

The 18-year-old musician was spotted out in Los Angeles wearing a beige tank top with matching shorts, a far cry from her otherwise oversized fashionable wardrobe.

Eilish posted a video from blogger Chizi Duru begging to ‘normalize normal bodies’ after online trolls slammed her figure.

‘Can we normalize normal bodies?’ Duru said in the TikTok clip reposted by Billie to her 67 million followers on Instagram.

In the clip, Duru says: ‘Ya’ll got to start normalizing real bodies, ok? Not everyone has a wagon behind them, ok? Guts are normal. They’re normal. Boobs sag, especially after breastfeeding. Instagram isn’t real.’

Billie’s known for her eclectic style and regularly sports loud prints from major luxury brands, including Gucci, Burberry and Louis Vuitton.

Her first studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was released in March 2019 and earned the top spot across global music charts, with idol Justin Bieber even collaborating on a remix of her popular hit Bad Guy.

She received five Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards and One Brit Award for the album which included six top hits.

She released her debut single Ocean Eyes in 2016 and an EP the following year, and has earned seven gold and two platinum singles through the Recording Industry Association of America.
