Megan Barton Hanson showed off her new Pisces tattoo to cover up her previous inking ‘love’, reminded her of a cheating ex-boyfriend.
The Love Island star, 26, took to Instagram on Wednesday to document the process, first showing the remnants of an old hummingbird design which she had originally got to mask the word.
After getting the hummingbird lasered off, Megan decided upon a pretty illustration of the astrological symbol.

Megan showed of the two fishes captured by a string from their tails. Stars and floral designs were inked at the base of her wrist while the moon and the planet Neptune were also included.
The fish swimming in opposite directions is meant to represent the duality within the Piscean nature.
The reality star has been having laser removal since 2019 to remove the humingbird tattoo.

Showing off her old tattoo, she wrote: ‘It was so dark. This was also a cover-up before that said “love”.
‘I went through a bad break-up and got it covered the next week. Don’t rush these things even if the p**** did cheat on you.
‘You can still have the word love tattooed on you and not be as dramatic as me.’
The TV personality first started to get second tattoo removed after her split from Wes Nelson in January 2019, and the ink appeared to be mostly removed from her wrist.

He is not the ex in question that she is talking about – the cheating ex is in reference to when she removed the ‘love’ tattoo.
In January 2019, Megan took to Instagram to unveil her tattoo in the process of being removed from inside her wrist at The Rest Room in London.
The hummingbird tattoo was no longer clearly etched into her skin as she shared the fading inking on her wrist with her Instagram fans.
At the time, she wrote: ‘At the @resetroom wrist tat is almost gone this guy is so quick and has best laser around.’
