She was forced to step down from the panel of The Masked Singer in March, after COVID-19 border closures meant she was stuck in LA.

But on Thursday, Lindsay Lohan assured her fellow judge Dave Hughes that she’ll definitely be returning for next year’s season of the celebrity guessing game.

Comedian Dave, 49, revealed on his Hughesy & Ed radio show that he’d asked the Mean Girls actress, 34, via Instagram DMs if she was coming back in 2021.

Phew! Lindsay Lohan has all but confirmed she will return for The Masked Singer next year

‘I said to her, “Thanks for the follow… you coming back to Masked Singer?”‘ he said with a laugh.

The Freaky Friday star seemed enthusiastic with her response, replying to Hughesy: ‘I think so!!!! I hope so!!!! How’s it going over there?’

Following Dave’s revelation, his co-host Ed Kavalee noted: ‘That’s confirmed now, because you’re going to look bad if she doesn’t!’

‘We love all the talent that we had on this year and we love Lindsay,’ Ms McGarvey, the chief content officer and EVP of ViacomCBS Australia, told news.com.au.

‘Our feeling at this point is that it feels fairly ambitious to think our borders are going to be open anytime soon,’ she added.

‘Obviously we would love to have all our internationals back once we can, but I just don’t know when that’s going to be.’
