They are two of Hollywood’s biggest stars, collaborating for the first time on a new Netflix basketball flick.

And Adam Sandler and Queen Latifah were seen out filming scenes as shooting for the new film began in Philadelphia on Friday.

Hustle will tell the story of a basketball scout (Sandler) who discovers a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ player outside the US, prompting him to bring the player over to groom him for the NBA.

Latifah, 50, will play Adam’s wife in the film, and both actors seemed in good spirits as they filmed on the streets of Philadelphia.

Latifah put on a vibrant display, as she was wearing a bright yellow coat over a striped black and white T-shirt.

The Hairspray star donned a pair of skinny blue jeans, while for footwear she opted for a set of chunky white trainers.

She wore her caramel tresses loose and straight, as she appeared to laugh at something Sandler was saying.

Adam, 54, was meanwhile decked out in black tracksuits with an orange sports polo beneath.

The Happy Gilmour star was sporting a thick dark beard, and in several shots he was seen to be holding hands with Latifah.

The two actors were seen to wear face masks between takes, and at one point an assistant came over to brush up on Sandler’s make-up.

Hustle is directed by Jeremiah Zagar and produced by NBA Champion and Lakers star LeBron James.

The film is part of Adam’s Happy Madison Production company and Netflix partnership extension, with the parties committing to four more films that will be distributed exclusively on the streaming giant, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Adam and Neflix’s most recent partnership is the soon-to-be released movie Hubie Halloween, which stars Adam, Ray Liotta, Maya Rudolph, Kevin James and Shaquille O’Neal.

Earlier this week, Adam paid tribute to his Mr. Deeds co-star Conchata Ferrell, who passed away Tuesday at age 77 following complications stemming from cardiac arrest.

Conchata played Jan, a close friend of Adam’s character Longfellow Deeds.

In his tribute post on his Instagram Wednesday, Adam shared an image of Conchata with the caption: ‘RIP. Great lady. Will be missed terribly. So sorry to her family.’
