MAFS’ Cameron Merchant and The Bachelor’s Matty ‘J’ Johnson reveal how they REALLY felt about cutting their baby’s umbilical cord
Cutting their newborn baby’s umbilical cord is a moment that most father’s have experienced at least once.
And for dads Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson and Cameron Merchant, their experiences were vastly different from one another.
Talking on Nova 96.9 Matt, Sarah & Matty J, the two dad’s revealed how they REALLY felt about the process.

‘I didn’t like it, wasn’t a fan of cutting the umbilical cord, not for me,’ admitted Matty J, who is father to one-year-old Marlie Mae.
However, former Married At First Sight star, Cameron, 36, loved every minute of it.
‘I went there, I did it, I got really deep down. I never thought I would because I get squirmy at an episode of botched, and any blood or anything,’ he said.

‘But I was in the moment, I loved every single bit of it, I did cut the umbilical cord.’

On Friday, Jules shared an adorable new picture of the tot pulling a face to Instagram.

The 35-year-old explained that they have dubbed the tot’s facial expression, the ‘old angry man poo face’.
‘Today we discovered the “old angry man poo face”,’ she captioned the pic.
‘The face of many faces that make us laugh so much! I assume all parents come up with stupid names for their babies right!?’
In the image Cameron, was cradling the baby, who was wearing a black and white bib featuring foxes and a white onesie.
