She recently posted a black and white photo of the former footballer reading a book with their four kids, while adding the simple caption: ‘My world’.

Abbey was clearly loving spending time with her beloved brood as she took to Instagram to post the tender snap of the family all together.

The post comes after Peter opened up about his dad duties in an interview with Rob Beckett and Josh Widdcombe’s Parenting Lockdown Hell earlier this month, as he admitted that his wife doesn’t trust him alone with their brood.

Speaking candidly about life in the Crouch-Clancy household, he said: ‘We’ve got some help, her mum is very good and we’ve got some family who can help us because I don’t think Abs would trust me fully on my own with all four’.

Abbey could be heard speaking in the background, as he added: ‘She’s looking at me now, oh yea did you hear that? She’s shouted over the top of me “what about that time you lost him at the farm?”

He said of the incident with son Jack: ‘We’re all in the farm and we’re with the toddlers, and you can’t get out of this little bit we’re in unless an adult presses the button, which is high enough for an adult to press…

‘Anyway a teenager, I thought he was fine playing where he is and teenagers obviously pressed the button and he’s gone out, now he’s out by the sheep now I’m sort of in the play bit.

‘It’s all covered and she’s gone “where’s Jack?” and I’ve gone, “he’s just… out by the sheep by the looks of it!” So there was a panic, but all good he didn’t go too far.’

As well as discussing parenting, the couple recently revealed they suffered a financial loss during the coronavirus lockdown, according to their filed accounts.

The celebrity couple’s finances were hit hard by the pandemic as they lost out on  lucrative work deals when the nation came to a halt.

Abbey and Peter reportedly told their accountant that they weren’t offered their usual commitments due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

She recently filed her books for her company Abigail Marie Clancy Ltd, while Peter has also settled his account for his firm Baseforce Ltd.

According to the Sun, the reports show that the couple’s income will also be down next year due to the ongoing outbreak.

A note on the account, read: ‘Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 in March 2020, all non-essential businesses and shops were closed.

‘The associated ‘lockdown’ has had an effect on the company’s operations after the balance sheet date resulting in a sharp down in its revenues.’
