Demi Lovato wears a mask with her own face printed on it: ‘I’m equally amused as I am disturbed’

Demi Lovato appears to have found the perfect solution to maintaining a beaming smile at all times, even under a CDC-recommended face mask.

While posing for a selfie on her Instagram Story on Saturday, the singer, 28, wore a facial covering with the bottom half of her face and glossy pout printed on it.

‘Someone gave me a mask with my smile on it and I’m equally amused as I am disturbed,’ she captioned the picture, which creates a nearly seamless illusion.

In congruence with the mask’s highly glamorous makeup look, the star appeared to be wearing several coats of mascara, concealer and perfectly penciled eyebrows.

The Confident hitmaker appeared to be having a relaxing afternoon, as she donned a blue and yellow tie-dye shirt at her home in Los Angeles.

She completed her look by slicking her dark tresses in a high ponytail and sharing a video of herself burning sage—which is the process of purifying negative energy.

In the video, she shares a video of her hands wafting smoke and cleansing the energy of her home, just weeks after ending her engagement to Max Ehrich.

Speaking to TMZ, earlier this month, about the negative comments he’s got from trolls, Ehrich, 29, said it was ‘ridiculous’ how some people believed his six-month whirlwind romance with the singer was intended to take ‘advantage of her fame.’

The Young And The Restless star explained to the publication: ‘I just think we’re both anti-bullying people, so people should stop bullying people.’

‘It’s ridiculous, and what people think it’s about has nothing to do with it. People just shouldn’t believe what they read,’ he continued.

When asked about Demi, Max wished ‘her the best’ and ‘nothing but happiness’, before he said he wouldn’t be getting back on the dating scene as he needed ‘some time because it’s hard.’

At the start of October, Max publicly displayed his grief over the end of their relationship, as he captioned a sad selfie with a broken heart emoji.

The actor, who boasts 1.6M Instagram followers, wrote: ‘I ask you kindly to please stop and see a hurting human being behind his phone screen who just publicly had his heart shattered.’

The two-time Grammy nominee – who’s a recovering addict – met Ehrich in March, began quarantining together immediately, got engaged in July, and then abruptly split in September.

‘Demi’s feeling a sense of relief after seeing Max’s true colors,’ a source recently told Us Weekly.

‘She’s in a really good place and already jumping right back into work and spending time with friends and family.’

Lovato recently released her break-up single, Still Have Me, with lyrics like ‘I’m a mess and I’m still broken / I don’t have much but at least I still have me / and that’s all I need.’

‘All the highs and now just lows / but it doesn’t even matter, cause I’d rather be alone,’ Lovato sings on the song.

‘All my life disappeared / and I’m laying right here / while the silence is piercing / and it hurts to breathe.’
