Keith Lemon admits Emily Atack is ‘ten times wilder’ than Holly Willoughby

Keith Lemon has admitted he thinks new Celebrity Juice star Emily Atack is ‘ten times wilder’ than Holly Willoughby.

The Inbetweeners actress, 30, has replaced Holly, 39, as a team captain on the comedy series and Keith, 45, is confident she is the perfect addition to the show.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he said: ‘Emily is crazy. She’s up for everything. She’s got a filthy sense of humour.

‘With Atack, I wind her up about men and booze. I bet she walks around her house with a wine drip. I’ve met my equal.’

Keith revealed he’s even keen to help Emily to find a new boyfriend. The presenter admitted he feels like former ‘Blind Date’ host Cilla Black at the moment.

He shared: ‘Emily has got her eyes on single guys all the time. I feel like Cilla Black. I’ve said to her, “Don’t worry, by the end of this series, I’ll get you a boyfriend.” Maybe that’s my next forte.’

Keith also heaped praise on Laura Whitmore, who will star alongside Emily on the new series of Celebrity Juice.

In contract to Emily, the comedian described the Love Island presenter as ‘quite sensible’ and likened her to former team captain Fearne Cotton.

While he admitted to giving Fearne a lot of grief during her time on the show, Keith reckons he may do the odd Irish joke with Laura, who is currently trying to teach him to speak Irish.

Keith revealed he feels fortunate to be working with Emily and Laura, describing them as ‘proper mates’.

It comes after Emily fans a taste of what to expect when Celebrity Juice finally returns with a brand new line-up on October 22.

Taking to Instagram, Emily offered a glimpse of her backstage preparations ahead of what appeared to be a Halloween themed episode.

Posting a short video, the Inbetweeners star looked radically different beneath layers of densely applied make-up while an assistant added the finishing touches to her lips.

Giving the clip an unsettling flourish, Emily used a distinctive filter to dilate her pupils and turn her eyes a ghostly shade of blue.

Earlier this month, Laura and Emily announced they’d be replacing Holly as team captains on Celebrity Juice, four months after she left her 12-year stint.

ITV2’s comedy panel series will see comedian Keith return to host eight episodes this autumn, followed by two 60-minute specials.

Emily and Laura have both starred as guests on the much-loved show, but the upcoming series will mark the first time they will battle it out with their star-studded teams, which are yet to be announced.

Insisting she’s not going down without a fight, TV star Emily said in a press release: ‘Every time I’ve been on Juice in the past I’ve had such a good time, and now I’m doing it with two of my best mates and I’m a ruddy team captain!!! Can’t believe it.

‘I dread to think what we’re going to be faced with, but Whitmore should know that I won’t be backing down and she is going to have some tough competition. But more importantly a wonderfully hilarious time. Bring it on!’

The last edition, which aired from April until May, was fronted by both broadcaster Holly and Spice Girls’ Mel B, 45.

Kelly Brook, Gino D’Acampo and Paddy McGuinness have also served as team captains in the past.
