Shane Warne’s son Jackson steps out barefoot after saying he had ‘goosebumps’ watching SAS Australia – even though viewers barely saw him

He’s set to become a breakout star on SAS Australia, even though he was hardly featured during Monday night’s season premiere.

And model Jackson Warne was spotted enjoying a barefoot stroll near his mother Simone Callahan’s home in Melbourne just hours before his TV debut.

The 21-year-old son of cricket legend Shane Warne dressed casually for the walk in mismatched sweats.

Jackson covered his muscular physique in a pair of grey sweatpants along with a fitted tan jumper.

The reality star carried a bottle of water and offered a polite smile as he walked to his grey BMW to drive back home.

The star said he had ‘goosebumps’ while watching the first episode of SAS Australia, which he unfortunately didn’t feature heavily in. 

‘Thank you for the messages after the first episode! So many goosebumps while watching it,’ he said.

‘Very surreal. Episode two is on tomorrow at the same time.’

Jackson posted about his helicopter drop to Instagram during last night’s premiere.

Showing himself doing a backflip from the helicopter, he wrote in the caption: ‘Diving straight into the deep end.’ 

In another post earlier this month, Jackson revealed what had prompted him to sign up for the gruelling TV show, while sharing a publicity photo from the series.

‘Whilst I was happy with my life and very content with my day to day, I felt that I was almost too comfortable and something was missing,’ he began.

‘I was doing the same thing, eating the same food and stuck with the same thoughts, caught in this cycle. I needed a change.  

‘So why did I do it? Simple answer… get comfortable being uncomfortable.’

The series follows 14 celebrities as they attempt the intense selection process for the elite Special Forces army unit. 

Under the guidance of former Special Forces soldiers, they will have to endure both physical and psychological challenges.
