Principality Building Society, the sixth largest, has a new regular savings account.

Thank You Saver, available through its branches, aims to thank NHS employees for the role they perform in its heartland.

The lender has 70 branches and agencies across Wales and in the borders. It pays 1.65 per cent on savings between £1 and £250 a month and lets you take money out three times a year.

That makes it the best simple regular savings account with free access available.
