Fans of The Bachelorette went into a frenzy on Wednesday when shy suitor Adam Todd couldn’t seem to decide where to put his hands while kissing Elly Miles.
The 24-year-old geologist’s hand appeared to hover over Elly’s bottom for a few seconds, brushing it every so slightly, before he decided to place it on her back instead.
The awkward yet relatable moment amused many viewers, as it reminded them of how awkward first kisses can be sometimes.

The steamy moment came after Adam had removed during the body-painting date, leaving Elly, 26, rather flustered.

During her single date with Adam, Elly explained she decided to paint him as a giraffe because they were very intelligent animals.
‘I hear they’ve actually got the biggest heart for a land animal, and I think that’s you,’ she said as she started painting his chest.

After noticing that Adam always seemed to be nervous around her, Elly added that it was her mission to help him relax.
‘Doing the body painting, it was really beautiful, like, you know, just being near each other… it just feels nice, being around him, it was pretty special,’ she confessed.
