Bella Hadid channels her grungy side as she steps out for dinner with designer Alexander Wang in NYC

Bella Hadid calls Manhattan home despite spending the majority of quarantine on her mother’s farm in Pennsylvania.   

On Wednesday, the 24-year-old model was taking advantage of the bustling city nightlife as she stepped out to meet her designer pal, Alexander Wang, for dinner. 

Hadid channeled her grungy side in an an oversized outfit and platform combat boots as she left her SoHo apartment.

For the dinner outing, Bella rocked a pair of black trousers with nylon strap detailing that hung low on her slim frame. 

She flashed a hint of her model midriff in a bright red t-shirt that she layered under a fitted black cardigan. 

Bundling up for the fall weather, she threw on an oversized denim jacket that was lined with a Southwestern print. 

The international model completed the look with a pair of black platform Doc Martens and a small black purse that she carried in hand.

She kept her noticeably lighter hair clipped back in a stylish updo, throwing on some small framed sunglasses and a black face mask. 

By her side was her trusty security guard who made sure Bella got from her condo to dinner seamlessly. 

She rocked a pair of small hoop earrings and layered some delicate gold necklaces around her neck as she prepared to meet Wang for a bite to eat.

Sharing footage to social media, Bella posted selfies and videos of her dinner at The Tyger with Wang and makeup artist pal, Sam Visser. 

The fabulous trio indulged in some wine and some cocktails, before digging into a decadent dessert that was plated on a coconut. 

The friends giggled over the delicious meal, before taking a selfie on the streets.

The dinner outing comes days after it was reported that Bella and sister Gigi unfollowed Kim Kardashian on social media, based on their opposing views on the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict. 

Coincidentally, Hadid’s dinner with Wang comes on Kim’s 40th birthday, after the designer made her a custom dress in celebration of her big day. 

According to The Sun, an insider revealed details of the ensuing feud.

‘Bella and Gigi posted about Armenia last weekend, in a greater effort to raise awareness about the ongoing conflict with Azerbaijan. The girls got backlash online so they deleted those posts,’ the source shared. 

Reportedly, Kim who is of Armenian descent on her late father’s side, reached out to the Hadids after seeing the posts but the sisters got upset. 

‘Kim texted both of them, reaching out to try to inform them about the conflict because she has been raising awareness about Armenia’s cause, but Bella and Gigi did not take that well and got upset.’

Kim has been very vocal about taking Armenia’s side, even donating $1M to the cause, as the two countries fight over the Republic of Artsakh, also known as the Nagorno-Karabakh territory.

Currently the conflict has taken more than 1000 lives since it started on September 27th, despite trying to institute a second ceasefire.
