Mike Goldman  has claimed he was fired from The Voice Australia after a tense encounter on set while filming with a live studio audience for Channel Nine

Mike said he was let go after only performing the role for a few episodes.

Explaining the scenario to his guest, Big Brother star Shane Vincent, Mike said: ‘What happened was, Channel Nine brought all the hoity-toity, carpet-strolling w**kers to sit in the front two rows and I’m trying to get the crowd pumped.’

He insinuated that while the rest of the live studio audience was participating in cheering, clapping and showing excitement, the front rows remained unmoved.

‘I’ve got the guy screaming “who the f**k’s this crowd warm up guy? Why the f**k aren’t these people standing up in the front row?”‘ Mike recalled.

‘They didn’t realise they had talk back on,’ he said, adding that he asked the front row to ‘actually stand up’, but was not met with a positive reaction to doing so.
