Oti Mabuse releases new powerful trailer for her first solo dance tour I Am Here

Oti Mabuse has released a new powerful trailer for her first solo dance tour I Am Here which will hit UK theatres in April 2021.

In the mesmerising 45-second video, exclusively obtained by MailOnline, the Strictly Come Dancing professional, 30, looks incredible in a black leotard as she takes to the stage with husband Marius Lepure.

Delivering a compelling monologue over powerful music, Oti says: ‘When I think about my life and the journey I’ve been on, it all revolves around one thing… dance.

‘The excitement, passion and emotion. I am Oti Mabuse and I am here.’

Oti slowly walks onto the stage during the trailer and then goes into a passionate routine with Marius, 38, as she shows off her impressive dance skills.

The electrifying trailer ends with a message which says ‘coming April 2021.’

Oti’s first solo dance tour will see her joined on stage by some of the world’s greatest dancers, singers and musicians. 

I Am Here will follow the dancer’s journey from growing up in South Africa to becoming a professional dancer on Striclty.

The tour will launch at New Theatre, Peterborough, Friday 16 April and end on Monday 14 June at London Coliseum. Oti will travel to the likes of Edinburgh, Belfast and Cardiff for the 42-date show.  

It’s been an exciting week for Oti and on Saturday night she was paired with comedian Bill Bailey, 55, on Strictly’s launch show.

The comedian was surprised at the London Wetland Centre with Oti wearing a fun pink feathered collar as she pretended to be a bird. 

Bill said of the pairing: ‘Well, I am absolutely over the moon to be paired with Oti. I am so looking forward to this!’ 

Back in the studio, Oti revealed that their first dance will be the cha-cha on Saturday’s show.

The dancer also took to the stage for a stunning socially-distanced routine with former celebrity partner Kelvin Fletcher. The duo won the 2019 series and took home the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
