Claudia Schiffer wears a figure-hugging jumpsuit as she is named Woman of the Year at the GQ Awards

Claudia Schiffer, who turned 50 at the end of August, looked nothing short of sensational as she was honored as Woman of the Year at the GQ Awards in London.

While accepting the coveted title, the stunning supermodel wore a navy, figure-hugging jumpsuit, which cinched her in at the waist and showed off her slim figure. 

As she expressed her gratitude, the German beauty kissed her statuette and posed for a number of snaps, which featured her coral heels and gold accessorizes.

Looking eternally youthful, Schiffer styled her trademark blonde tresses in loose waves and sported a natural yet glamorous makeup look in her living room. 

Schiffer, who is also an executive producer, ‘got her start in 1987, after being spotted by a modeling agent,’ according to Variety, and graced the cover of British Vogue at age 19. 

Just two years later, she became one of the world’s highest paid supermodel, and has continued to have an expansive modeling career for the past three decades.

Like Schiffer, who celebrated at home due to COVID-19 regulations, all of the publication’s honorees celebrated the annual awards ceremony virtually. 

The star-studded roster of victors also included Jean Paul Gaultier, Zachary Quinto, Leon Goretzka, and Kimberly Jones and more. 

Upon accepting his award, Quinto, who received the Movie International award, reflected on gravitating toward an acting career at an early age.

The Boys in the Band actor continued: ‘She shaped my understanding of what it means to be an artist: How you move in the world is at least as important as on stage. I have never forgotten this fundamental lesson.’

In his speech, he also noted he will continue to try and ‘fight for people who have been less fortunate’ than him.

Leon Goretzka, who plays as a midfielder for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, took home the honor of GQ Sportsman of the Year. 

Meanwhile, Jones, an African-Amerian novelist, was awarded Voice of the Year, after her video, titled How Can We Win?, went viral, amid the George Floyd protests. 

She is a strong advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement and has more than 240,000 Instagram followers.
