Sharon Stone and Emily Ratajkowski join the stars watching the election returns

Cardi B was smoking like a chimney as she joined other celebrities watching early election returns from the United States’ general election on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old rapper shared a joking video of herself huffing on multiple cigarettes at once while watching the returns come in, though election experts caution that it will likely be days before all the early votes are counted.

Meanwhile, Emily Ratajkowski, 29, also settled in for a long night in front of her television with election coverage.

Smoking too much: Cardi B, 28, was smoking on multiple cigarettes to cope with election night stress on Tuesday, as she joined Emily Ratajkowski and other stars watching the early returns

Cardi was dressed in a furry black coat and had her hair done in cornrows as she stared blankly into the camera.

She lifted up her hand to reveal three lit cigarettes in a row and took a long drag, before slowly exhaling to the side.

‘How these elections got me watching these states turn red,’ she wrote with multiple worried emojis.

Despite her fears, the election was still a toss-up at the time she posted, and election prognosticators have warned that the swell of absentee ballots that were seen this year due to the pandemic will delay reporting in multiple states, possibly by multiple days.

Some states will also be reporting their in-person election day results first, which are expected to support President Trump more, while mail-in votes that are expected to support former Vice President Joe Biden will trickle in more slowly.

Cardi has been unabashed about her support for Biden in the 2020 race, and she previously had a chat for Elle with the former VP over Zoom in August.

Emily Ratajkowski was feeling similarly as she watched the election updates on television.

The actress and model, who recently revealed she was expecting her first child, was bundled up in a hoodie as she tried to relax on her sofa.

‘So it begins,’ she wrote, before turning her phone to the television to look at the returns.
