Hollywood here he comes! Robert Irwin is ‘leaning on Chris Hemsworth to mentor him as he prepares to front reboot of his late father Steve’s show The Crocodile Hunter’

They’re one of Australia’s most well-known families.

And Robert Irwin is now reportedly set on cracking Hollywood – with a little help from his superstar pal, Chris Hemsworth.

According to Woman’s Day, the 16-year-old is leaning on the Thor actor to help him with career on the big screen, as rumours swirl that he could also be fronting a reboot of his late father Steve’s show, The Crocodile Hunter.

‘You couldn’t ask for a better person [than Chris] to introduce you to the right people, and he knows what a shark tank Hollywood is and has vowed to help out,’ the source allegedly told the magazine.

Daily Mail Australia have contacted a representative for Robert and Bindi for comment.

Robert’s career has been going from strength to strength in recent years.

And just last month, it was revealed that he was set to voice a character on the acclaimed animated kids series, Bluey.

He shared the news on Instagram alongside a couple of photos of the program, featuring his character, named Alfie.

‘I am very excited to be voicing a character in a new episode of Bluey – ‘Alfie’ will be featuring on the show on November 4,’ he boasted in the caption.

‘So happy to be part of this awesome Aussie production, hope you can watch,’ he added.

Bluey is an Australian animated series for preschool-aged children and it won an award at the International Emmy Awards earlier this year.
