Imogen Anthony has revealed the moment she went full fangirl upon meeting pop sensation Rihanna.

The 29-year-old shared the ‘cringe’ throwback with her Instagram followers on Tuesday while gushing about the opportunity of a lifetime.

‘That time I drank w/ Rihanna and insisted on talking about my camel whilst looking way too f**king excited,’ the model ex-girlfriend of radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands captioned her post.

She added: ‘We all fangirl over at least one person and @badgalriri was mine.’

In the photo, Imogen is seen with her arm draped around neck of the Barbadian star, who is best known for her music and Fenty makeup line.

Rihanna is seen pouting toward the camera while wearing a snakeskin-print bucket hat and top, as Imogen appeared in awe of the moment.

Her throwback photo came after Imogen urged her followers to boycott the Melbourne Cup, describing it as ‘barbaric’.

‘Well, we lost another horse during Melbourne Cup today, because it’s Dark Tuesday, which is that annoying time of year where I merely attempt to remind you of all the horrors the Melbourne Cup unfolds,’ she wrote.

‘Yeah it’s a great day for some. You get boozy with your mates, share a few harmless bets or walk around with something that resembles a flamingo on your head because this is how we entertain ourselves as human beings.’

She continued: ‘I still hate how they are treated during (whipping, excessive breathing leading to cardiac arrests, leg breaks leading to being put down etc) but my big other issue is how they are treated AFTERWARDS.

‘Many horses are looked after (as I have had countless arguments with horse people in the past over it) but, as horse racing is gambling, gambling is money, and money means greed.

‘Many horses that don’t perform well or even make it to the race have been sent to auction yards where bidders buy these animals to slaughter, or unless someone like me, goes and bids for them myself.’
