Katharine McPhee tenderly cradles her growing bump as she shops for baby clothes

She confirmed in early October that she is expecting her first child with musician husband David Foster, 71.

And Katharine McPhee was spotted cradling her growing bump on Monday afternoon as she shopped for baby clothes in West Hollywood.

The American Idol alum, 36, found plenty of worthy pieces for her little one at the upscale store Couture Kids On Robertson.

She exited the shop with a large bag that she carried in the crook of her arm as she wandered to other nearby storefronts.

Katharine looked like an ultra chic mom-to-be in a stretchy white accordion skirt that flowed down to her ankles.

She paired the flowing skirt with a cropped cardigan that she layered over a black sports bra.

The SMASH actress had her brunette hair tied back into a ponytail and her famous face was concealed behind a white face mask and a pair of black sunglasses.

McPhee carried her essential belongings in a leather cross-body bag and she showcased her fresh pedicure in a pair of braided white sandals.

She accessorized her look by fastening two stunning gold chains around her neck. 

Before diving into her search for baby clothes, McPhee stopped by Cha Cha Matcha to grab a refreshing iced latte. 

Katharine confirmed her pregnancy earlier this month on Instagram while showing off a gift box sent to her by Aperol Spritz.

‘I won’t be drinking this anytime soon, wink, wink. But I’m very excited. Who’s coming over for an Italian inspired cocktail?’ she dished.

Although she has never been a mother before, she is close with two of David’s daughters, Erin and Sara Foster.

The American Idol runner up was married once before to actor Nick Cokas, with their divorce finalized in 2016.

Meanwhile David has been married and divorced four times — to B.J. Cook, Rebecca Dyer, Linda Thompson and Yolanda Hadid.

Katharine and David said ‘I do’ in front of a host of friends and family in London on June 28, 2019. 

The couple made their first appearance since unveiling their pregnancy news during the virtual Go Gala, which raised funds to help feed and shelter children in need across the globe, on October 25.

For their appearance, Katharine lent her voice to David’s song The Prayer, which he co-wrote with Carole Bayer Sager, Alberto Testa and Tony Renis for the 1998 animated film Quest For Camelot.

Foster remained seated at a piano as he ‘beautiful wife’ effortlessly performed the emotional ballad. 

Recently, the couple were spotted house hunting in Montecito to move closer to royal couple pals Prince Harry and Meghan, as revealed exclusively by DailyMail.com on November 2.

Prince Harry and Meghan ‘have become really close’ with Katharine and David since moving to California, a source told DailyMail.com. 

‘They’ve spent quite a bit of time in Montecito since Harry and Meghan moved there and they’ve fallen in love with it so they decided to start looking at properties to see what’s on the market.’

A source close to Foster and McPhee said they want their child to grow up alongside Harry and Meghan’s one-year-old son Archie in the family friendly area near Santa Barbara. 

‘If they do make the move their child can play with Archie and become good friends. Harry and Meghan are excited about having them live nearby and they all want their kids to grow up together.’ 

As of now, Katharine and David continue to live in the musician’s Los Angeles apartment and there is no word as to when the pair will solidify their move.
