I’m A Celebrity star Shane Richie’s wife Christie has revealed the EastEnders star has a ‘secret sign’ so that he can tell his children he loves them from camp.
The actor, 56, placed his fingers across his face, during the first episode which aired on ITV on Sunday and Christie noticed the moment immediately.
And Christie posted a picture of the hand gesture on Instagram, writing: ‘Shane’s special signal to the children, telling them he loves them.

Shane and Christie are parents to Mackenzie Blue, 14, Lolita Bell, 12, and Romani-Skye Angel, nine.
He also has two sons , Shane Jr, 31, Jake, 28, – with ex-wife, Coleen Nolan, 55.
Coleen has thrown her support behind ex-husband Shane, who she was married to from 1990 – 1999.
They split after it emerged that Shane had an affair, leaving Coleen heartbroken.
But taking to Instagram after she show, she shared a picture of this year’s line-up.

Coleen wrote: ‘Loving @imacelebrity so much already.. especially with @beverleycallard @vicderbyshire and of course @theshanerichie who’s bloody hilarious already!’
But things haven’t always been so plain sailing between the pair.
In 2016, Coleen said: ‘After two years of finding things out and getting back together, the thing that got me was when the girl he was seeing’s mum phoned and said, ‘Do you know where Shane is?”
After replying that he was on a work trip, the woman replied: ‘No, he’s on holiday with my daughter.’
Coleen said: ‘I was so calm. It was that instant moment when I thought that’s it. My heart shut down.’
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Shane confessed he’s thankful for the three weeks of work after the coronavirus pandemic left him with months of cancelled jobs.
‘We got the call in January and I agreed to do it because it was the 20th one,’ Shane explained.

‘My kids were old enough to travel to Australia and they wanted to meet Ant and Dec! We were all really excited.’
‘We were going to fit it around my other work projects as I was going on tour, doing a TV series and panto but that all got cancelled in March’.
Shane went on to detail his money troubles, explaining: ‘And now I am literally skint! You save money for a rainy day but you don’t expect the rainy day to last six months. Thankfully I’ve been able to borrow money from mates, my family and the bank and my wife is now very happy we can finally pay off the credit card!
‘But what an honour to be asked before lockdown. I am so grateful and I am really looking forward to being around adults again instead of my wife and three children!’
