Joe Exotic has shared a message from prison following his husband’s arrest over the weekend.

The Tiger King star, who is currently incarcerated at Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth, spoke out on Sunday via Instagram to show his support for Dillon Passage.

Showing support for his 22-year-old spouse Exotic continued, ‘I love my husband and will be there for him, just as he has been for me. If we all learn something from this, it is not ok to be irresponsible and drink and drive.’

Exotic then hinted that Passage’s troubles have been influenced by his own imprisonment. The Netflix star has been fighting his 22-year sentence and is still hoping to be pardoned by President Trump.

‘I hope that the news media that will cover this sees that a flawed system not only affects the person’s life, but it also affects that person’s entire family. Alcohol was not a problem for Dillon when I was home.

He ended his post with the hashtags ‘Free Joe Exotic,’ ‘Pardon Joe Exotic’ and ‘Help Free Joe.’

Exotic – who’s full name is Joseph Allen Schreibvogel – found fame this summer with the popular Netflix series Tiger King, which documented the rise and fall of his big cat sanctuary.

He’s currently serving 22-year sentence after being found guilty of animal abuse and a murder-for-hire plot against his exotic animal rival Carole Baskin, 58.

The husbands have had a conversation about whether Dillon, who is 35 years Exotic’s junior, should move on to a new relationship.

DailyMailTV learned in October that Exotic was sexually assaulted and left with gruesome injuries from his shackles at a previous facility he was held at.

It’s claimed staff at his current prison in Texas search Exotic’s room every other day, write him up for minor prison violations, berate him on a daily basis and hurl cutting insults his way, even claiming his husband Dillon is cheating behind his back.

A fellow inmate who spent time with Exotic in prison told DailyMailTV that the abuse is taking its toll on the star and he’s dropped 40lbs of weight through stress.
