‘Maybe we’ll have a wedding in a year!’ Kelly Brook says she’d ‘love’ to tie the knot and start a family with long-term boyfriend Jeremy Parisi

Kelly Brook has enthused about tying the knot and starting a family with her boyfriend of five years, Jeremy Parisi.

In a new interview, the model, 40, insisted that while marriage and children with the model, 35, won’t fill a ‘void’, she’s still looking forward towards the next chapter in her life.

The Heart Radio host shared: ‘Maybe we’ll do a wedding in a year because we’re allowed to again. We might think, ”Let’s go for it and have a party!”’

The presenter, who has tragically suffered miscarriages in the past, went on to state she’s currently content with her ‘laid-back’ and ‘ambitious’ partner of five years.

TV star Kelly told OK!: ‘I would love to get married at some point, but it’s not high on my list. I would love to have children at some point. I am happy now, so I don’t think it would fill any void. I’m pretty settled with my partner, we’ve got a lovely life.’

On how caring for her new dog Teddy will be different to raising kids, she added: I think we’ve had times where we’ve looked at the dog and thought we can’t! It’s the opposite. You can leave the dog for a couple of hours but you can’t leave a baby.’

Elsewhere in the interview, the media personality admitted she suffered from ‘severe anxiety’ at the start of UK’s first coronavirus lockdown, and feared she contracted the virus as she lives in London, a city she described as a ‘COVID-19 hotspot’.

The actress previously revealed she had gained weight during the global crisis, but has since bought a rebounder and engages in regular exercise.

Earlier this month, Kelly declared she’s a ‘happy and healthy’ size 12 as she admitted ‘some of the skinniest times in my life have been my most miserable.’

The broadcaster revealed her weight had plummeted in the past due to stress as she recalled when she was at just 8.5 stone (53.9kg) following her father’s passing in 2007.

Kent native Kelly also insisted body confidence ‘comes with age’ as she wants to look like a ‘good 40 year old’ as opposed to appearing younger.

She explained: ‘I’m a size 10 around my waist but a size 12 around my boobs and bum. That’s my healthy, happy size.

‘Some of the skinniest times in my life have been my most miserable. When I lost my dad in 2007 I was 8 1/2st. I would not want to be in that place again.’

On accepting her curvaceous figure, the honey-blonde beauty added to Fabulous magazine: ‘You don’t care if your bum looks big. I want to be the best version of myself, I don’t want to look like a 20 year old, I want to look like a good 40 year old.’
