Essex dogs chew their owner’s sofa leaving her home covered in feathers

  • A dog owner from Walton-on-the-Naze returned home to see their sofa wrecked
  • Julia said her dogs Ramona and Flo had chewed the soft furnishings in her home
  • The two dogs were rescued by the animal lover from Spain and brought to Essex 

This is the aftermath after a dog owner returned home having worked a double shift to discover that her pets had destroyed her sofa. 

The owner, Julia, from Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex, came home to find her dogs Ramona and Flo lounging in a bed of feathers. 

Julia got Ramona from Griffon Adoption UK who rescued the young dog from Spain. Her other dog, Flo, was also rescued from Spain, but is a mixed breed. 

Speaking about the aftermath, Fiona said: ‘I worked double night/morning shifts at the weekend and she did this Friday. Her timing was dreadful.

‘In the past, she’s ripped up a couple of magazines and counter surfed to eat the cat’s food but that’s all. 

‘The chair she ruined was where Flo liked to sleep Ramona has always refused to get on the sofa or chair before, even with encouragement, so this was completely unexpected It was like trying to laugh while in shock when I saw what she’d done.’
