Naomi Campbell has referenced her Tyra Banks feud in an Instagram story, which appears to show her support for claims that her former enemy is ‘a mean girl’.
The British supermodel, 50, took to Instagram stories to share a link to an article from celebrity gossip site The Things, entitled: ‘Here’s Why Fans Are Starting To Think Tyra Banks Is The Real Mean Girl, Not Naomi Campbell’.
The article revisited the duo’s iconic feud, which began in the Nineties when Tyra burst on to the modelling scene and alleges to have been ostracised by already successful supermodel Naomi – who she claims called her a ‘b****h’.
In 2005, Tyra, 46, invited Naomi on her now-defunct chat show to settle their differences, and while publicly the duo looked to have healed their rift, fastforward 15 years and Naomi looks to have opened a can of worms with the article share.

Tyra was the one to first publicise the row, as she made the accusations about Naomi slamming her during her Paris Fashion Week debut.
While they put their differences aside on the show, Naomi seems to want to make a statement as she shared the article, which was a retrospect comparing their roles on their respective shows – America’s Next Top Model and The Face.
In recent months, Tyra has come under fire for her ‘problematic’ behaviour on backdated episodes of ANTM, with many Twitter users pointing out a host of shocking acts throughout her time on the show – including a blackface photoshoot.
The article drew attention to a number of the faults Tyra has made over the years in some of the more shocking moments on the show.

The Things article concluded with: ‘The woe-is-me Tyra narrative has definitely worn off. We don’t want to reignite the rivalry…
‘But at least now it makes sense why in their face-off, Naomi just sat there smiling, looking cold-hearted, dodging all the accusations Tyra made.’

Naomi denied the accusation and said: ‘I’m not someone to go and give myself away and say that to anybody. I’ve never said that in my life. If that’s what you remember, I accept that person, but that doesn’t sound like me to people who know me.’

Talking about their feud in 2016, Tyra said: ‘I got to Paris and it was very difficult. I did very well, very fast. But then the industry was saying, “Look out Naomi Campbell, here comes Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell sit your butt down…
‘”This younger one is coming to take your place.'” It was really unfair to her because the other models that weren’t black, like Kate Moss came up, we were the same generation, they weren’t saying, ‘Look out Christy Turlington!’
‘You know, so they weren’t saying that. ‘So, you know, it wasn’t fair to Naomi, but her response to this day was… I’m very scared of her.’
‘I don’t want to go too deep into the past, but it was very difficult, very, very. Some of the lowest times of my life I’m dealing with that.

‘You know, so that’s pretty serious. She reacted strongly, but I kind of understand where that was coming from inside of her.”
On settling their differences, she said: ‘She kept saying it never happened and then there was a commercial break and then she came back and said, you know, “I’m sorry.”
‘And, oh my God, I just cried like a baby. To hear that after so many years of pain and dealing with it publically… me having to leave agencies because of her… to hear that apology meant the world to me. She has no idea what that did for me.’
