Students give tour of their VERY dodgy University digs including a bathroom door that doesn’t shut and a garden only accessible through a bedroom

  • Clip shared on TikTok by Yelena Zylko has been watched over millions times
  • Viewers were left baffled by its endless list of bizarre features and design flaws
  • But the bathroom caused biggest stir as those using toilet could not shut door

A bizarre University house has been branded ‘a literal nightmare that keeps getting worse’ after the group of student tenants shared a video showing it’s very bizarre features.

The video, which was shared on TikTok by Yelena Zylko, a student at the University of Sussex in Brighton,  left viewers baffled by its endless list of impractical design features including an unusable storage cupboard and a window that doesn’t open as it’s over the stairs.

But by far prompting the biggest stir was a tiny bathroom that was not even big enough for those sitting on the toilet to shut the door.

It also highlighted a sets of lights that have never worked (pictured)

These included a free-standing fridge positioned directly behind the heavy kitchen door as well as sets of lights that have never worked.

The viewers are then taken through to view a private garden before it is revealed it can only be accessed by going through one of the girls’ bedrooms.

It then shows an unusable storage cupboard which has been blocked by an awkwardly positioned chest of drawers as well as a seemingly pointless window hidden behind the staircase.

But it was the tiny bathroom that caused the most uproar as not only was the sink compactly seated on the toilet cistern but the room was not big enough to sit down and close the door (pictured)

The shower was also packed in next to the door meaning whoever used it had to climb over the toilet to have a wash.

The clip, which was uploaded alongside a caption that read ‘things in our uni house that just make sense,’ has since been viewed millions of times.
