Sylvia Jeffreys thanks colleague Davina Smith for being ‘next level generous’ after cooking for her while husband Peter Stefanovic is away

Sylvia Jeffreys’ husband Peter Stefanovic is currently in America to cover the U.S. presidential election.

And the 34-year-old took time to thank her colleague Davina Smith for her support while the Sky News reporter has been away.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, a pregnant Sylvia shared a smiling portrait of the two woman at the network’s studios.

‘This woman is next level generous,’ Sylvia began.

‘Davina Smith turned up to work this morning with a cooler bag filled with home cooked meals and chocolate for me because Pete’s still away.’

She said Davina has been carrying an enormous load herself.

‘Meantime, she has been solo parenting, carrying an enormous load for months while her husband is based in Queensland with the army.’

Sylvia shared a photo of the lasagna and Lindt chocolates, clearly touched by her sweet gesture.

‘The gift of lasagna is not a small act of kindness…it’s MASSIVE. And it absolutely made my day. Thank you, D!’

Not impressed: Sylvia took aim at Woman’s Day magazine earlier this week, after it claimed that Peter and Karl Stefanovic were ‘at war’ with each other

It comes as Sylvia hit out at Woman’s Day magazine on Today Extra this week, after a story called Peter and Karl Stefanovic ‘at war’ with each other.

‘I just couldn’t help but notice, the Stefanovics are at war… brothers Pete and Karl are at war, jealousy over career things,’ she said on air.

The article in question quoted a ‘close family friend’ as saying that Karl was ‘jealous’ of Peter’s career at Sky News Australia.

Peter recently flew to Washington, D.C., to cover the presidential election – an opportunity Today anchor Karl apparently wanted for himself.

She joked that her and Peter’s son, Oscar, was in fact winning because he’d just learned to stand up on his own.

‘Woman’s Day: the greatest fiction of all time. It’s almost science fiction!’ Sylvia added, laughing off the false claims.

She and Peter announced last month they were expecting another child together.

‘Oscar’s little brother due in April next year. We are so lucky,’ she wrote on Instagram, tagging her husband.
