Rebecca Judd QUITS 3pm Pick Up radio show after three years on the airwaves – as KIIS FM confirms she will be replaced by Kate Langbroek

Rebecca Judd has quit KIIS FM’s 3pm Pick Up radio show after three years on-air.

On Monday, ARN confirmed that the footy WAG, 37, will hang up her microphone in 2021, with comedian Kate Langbroek taking her place.

Kate will join Rebecca’s former 3pm Pick Up co-hosts Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond and Yumi Stynes as part of the line up from January 2021.

It’s over: Rebecca Judd, 37, has quit KIIS FM’s 3pm Pick Up radio show after three years on-air

Of Rebecca’s decision to quit the show, ARN’s Chief Content Officer Duncan Campbell said: ‘Bec Judd has been a fantastic contributor to 3PM Pick Up.’

‘The engaging conversation, real life anecdotes and fun that she brought to the show will be missed, but we wish her well on her next endeavours.’

Meanwhile, the new-look lineup marks a return to ARN for Kate, who previously hosted KIIS FM’s Drive Show with Dave ‘Hughsey’ Hughes between 2015 and 2017.

She took a break from the spotlight last year after moving to Italy with her family, but will return to live in Melbourne in January 2021.

‘After our family adventures in Italy, I’m looking forward to returning to magnificent Australia – and ARN – and getting to speak my native language – radio,’ Kate said.

Rebecca joined KIIS FM’s 3pm pick UP in 2017 alongside fellow newcomer Yumi in 2017, replacing Monty’s former co-host Mishel Laurie.

The glamorous mother-of-four quickly became an audience favourite, earning her a nomination for Best Newcomer On-Air at the ACRAs in 2017.

In addition to her radio career, Rebecca has also found success as a TV presenter, having worked for Channel Nine on and off for almost a decade.
