Ellen DeGeneres continues to fuel speculation that she may have already found a new residence after listing her Montecito mansion for $33.3M.

The 62-year-old talk show host was seen hitting up upscale home good stores in Santa Barbara with Rob Lowe’s wife, Sheryl Berkoff, as the two popped in and out of a few shops.

Dressed in a striped button down and a pair of grey slacks, Ellen put on her usual casual display for a day of retail therapy.

One hand on her car key and another holding a new purchase in a bag, Ellen headed to her white sports car in a grey face mask and a pair of white sneakers.

The wife of the St Elmo’s Fire actor wore jeans and a black sweater with a white knit cross body bag as the duo tried to fit an array of purchases into DeGeneres’ Porsche 911.

Providing both physical and moral support Sheryl helped DeGeneres arrange her two-seater as they loaded it up with stuff.

She was seen chatting to some local store owners and petting a very large Great Dane with her mask off.

Ellen seems to be on a shopping kick as reportedly days ago she dropped thousands of dollars on Egyptian linens from a neighboring shop.

Recently she and wife Portia de Rossi listed their palatial Montecito compound – which Ellen likened to a jail back in April – for $33.3M which was $7M under their initial asking price.

The insensitive comment about her mansion feeling like prison was just the start of a massive fallout that ensued after toxic reports of Ellen’s behavior on the talk show that bears her name surfaced.

A twitter thread started by comedian Kevin Porter asked people back in March to share the meanest things they had heard about Ellen which garnered thousand of responses.

The buzz around the show only continued to build as an investigation was launched and former employees spoke out and reported microaggressions, racist comments and sexual harassment.

Letting her executive producing staff take the brunt of the allegations and claiming innocence on her end, a handful of close associates were swiftly fired as she tried to do damage control.

Despite a handful of credible reports that alleged Ellen was just as bad – if not worse – than her staff who was fired, her talk show returned for its 18th season in September where DeGeneres addressed the controversy head on.

‘As you may have heard, this summer there were allegations of a toxic work environment at our show and then there was an investigation. I learned that things happened here that never should have happened. I take that very seriously and I want to say I am so sorry to the people who were affected,’ she said in her opening monologue.

Even after the backlash Ellen took home a People’s Choice Award for best daytime talk show.
