Ben Ofoedu has inadvertently hinted at a Christmas wedding to long-term fiancée Vanessa Feltz, 14 years after they announced their engagement.
The former Phats & Small vocalist, 48, proposed to TV presenter Vanessa, 58, in December 2006, however the couple are yet to confirm potential wedding plans.
But he suggested they may well exchange vows over the festive period while being pressed on the subject during an appearance on Thursday’s edition of Loose Women.

Featuring on the show alongside Boyz on Block bandmate Shane Lynch – with whom he has recorded a cover of East 17 classic Stay Another Day – he said: ‘I think we will be making an announcement very, very soon, so that’s an exclusive for Loose Women.
‘Hopefully the boys are going to come and we are going to sing Stay Another Day, which, uh, if we do it near Christmas – who knows!’
Perhaps realising the admission might have landed him in hot water with outspoken Vanessa, the singer promptly drew a line under the subject as panelist Jane Moore urged him for further details.

‘I’m not saying anything!’ he replied upon being asked is he was confirming the wedding.
Vanessa’s first marriage to surgeon Dr. Michael Kurer ended in 2000 after he reportedly left her for another woman, 13-years after they exchanged vows.
The former couple are parents to daughters Saskia Kurer, 31, and Allegra Benitah, 34, a former tax lawyer and successful TV chef.

Reflecting on their abrupt split in October, she said: ‘My husband had left and I had no idea why. I just didn’t understand what was going on at all and then I had a call from a journalist and the message was left on the answerphone.
‘I walked into the kitchen with my two little girls, played the answerphone message and the message was, “We are aware that your husband is having an affair, please call me back.”
‘Can you imagine? In front of the children and they were six and nine at the time. I mean I was shocked to the core.’
