‘I got nine to one odds and I put £1,000 on.’

And Mario joked Giovanna will also be relieved by his betting success because she would have had to pay him back if she didn’t walk away with the famous I’m A Celebrity crown.

The reality star added he had complete faith in his sister and felt she ‘deserved’ the victory following her stint on the hit ITV show.

And Mario was not the only one who thought that the author would win I’m A Celebrity, as Mark Wright took to Twitter to brag of his prediction prowess.

The TOWIE star, 33, who starred on I’m A Celeb in 2011, bragged that he had urged fans to cash in on his former love rival Mario’s sister’s victory – but deleted the message shortly after.

The star instructed his friends to vote after one of his pals wrote: ‘What is Mario Falcone’s sister doing on it?’, to which Mark said: ‘Bet on her right now’.
