Milla Jovovich reveals she supports her daughter Ever, 13, becoming an actress and says there’s ‘nothing better’ than seeing her children following in her footsteps

Milla Jovovich has been an actress and model since she was just ten years old. 

And the 44-year-old star is more than happy to see her children follow in her footsteps. 

While some actors are reluctant to allow their offspring to enter the film industry, Milla’s daughter Ever Gabo Anderson has already starred in three major films.

The 13-year-old appeared opposite her mother in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, as well as taking roles in Black Widow and the upcoming Peter Pan. 

Not only did Milla star alongside Ever in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, her father, Milla’s husband Paul W. S. Anderson, 55, was the film’s director.   

‘Oh my gosh, it was amazing. To see your children following in your footsteps, it’s incredible,’ Milla told this week’s Stellar magazine of performing with her daughter.

‘There’s nothing better in one sense and it’s scary in another, but she’s such a talented actress.

Milla was most impressed with what a natural actress Ever has turned out to be.  

‘When I saw how well she did in the movie and how professional she was on set, and just more than anything how much she enjoyed the experience, it made me really happy,’ she said.

Milla and British director Paul were married in 2009 and have three daughters, Ever Gabo,  Dashiel Edan, five, and  Osian Lark Elliot, 10 months. 

The couple, who have been married for 11 years, welcomed their third daughter Osian in February 2020. 

The British-born Anderson is the creative force behind the Resident Evil film franchise that, to date, consists of six movies (2002-2016). 

He’s also the writer, producer and director of the upcoming military science fiction fantasy film, Monster Hunter, which is loosely based on the video game series of the same name by Capcom.
