Beyonce presents Chloe X Halle with Billboard Women In Music Rising Star Award

She nurtured them to fame by signing them to her Parkwood label in 2016.

And this Thursday night Beyonce presented a Billboard Women In Music Rising Star Award to the sister-act of Chloe X Halle.

The 39-year-old pop diva showered praise on her old proteges, gushing in her speech: ‘Ladies, I am so, so proud of you.’

So sweet: This Thursday night Beyonce presented a Billboard Women In Music Rising Star Award to the singing sister-act of Chloe X Halle

She went on: ‘You’ve done this, with authenticity, with grace, with raw talent, and you’ve managed to shine in every room you enter. And I’ll always love you.’

‘This moment is absolutely beautiful,’ said Chloe Bailey, who at 22 is the older member of the musical act.

‘And even though we don’t do what we do for awards, this is definitely a “pinch me” moment. First, we want to thank God, because without Him, none of this would be possible, at all,’ noted the Atlanta native.

Her 20-year-old sister Halle, who has been cast as Ariel in the upcoming live action remake of the Disney animated classic The Little Mermaid, also spoke.

‘Let us tell you a little bit of our story. We’ve worked really hard for a really long time before anybody knew us. It’s true, blood, sweat and many, many tears,’ she dished.

‘Practice isn’t the thing you do once you’re good, it’s the thing you do that makes you good. Our mom and dad knew that,’ added the former teen star.

‘We don’t do this alone. None of this happens without family. They are our foundation,’ Halle said graciously.

Even in her Disney casting Halle was following in the footsteps of Beyonce, who voiced Nala in the CGI remake of The Lion King.

Chloe made sure to offer her thanks to Beyonce as well saying: ‘When it comes to her, we are filled with nothing but extreme gratitude.’

Halle effervesced: ‘She saw something in us both, two young black girls with short little locks, passionately singing their hearts out at home for the world to see.’

She added: ‘So, we just want to say, thank you Beyonce, for being you and for believing in the power of lifting up the young. We love you.’
