Making sure to keep safe amid the coronavirus crisis, Emerald wore a black face mask as she strolled through the streets of London.

Her golden locks were brushed into a loose, tousled style that she swept to one side, and she opted not to wear make-up as she went out on the walk.

Earlier this month, Emerald said she hopes the Duchess Of Cornwall approves of her portrayal of her.

Emerald, who portrays Camilla as the third-wheel in Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage, was shocked to hear rumours that the Duchess really watches the show.

When told this by ET Canada, she exclaimed: ‘Does she?! I didn’t know! This is nerve-wracking,’ she added. ‘I didn’t realize that but I hope she approves.’

According to a story in Vanity Fair last month, Camilla has watched previous seasons of The Crown and had no qualms about watching the fourth season in which she’s portrayed as ‘the third person’ in the marriage between Charles and Diana.

An insider told the publication: ‘I imagine she’ll be tuning in with a glass of red wine to watch it… She has a wonderful sense of humor and this won’t fuss her in the slightest.’

Emerald is the daughter of society jewellery designer Theo Fennell, and has carved out a brilliant career since graduating from Oxford.

She previously attended Marlborough College – Kate Middleton’s former school.

Besides acting, she is also a successful children’s author and wrote the script for the second series of Killing Eve, taking over from Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
