But Kelly Osbourne and BFF Jeff Beacher indulged a little on Thursday, with The Osbournes star presenting the entertainment relations consultant with a cake, in recognition of Airbnb’s stellar Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Beacher helped create awareness of the travel rental company in its early years as their consultant by introducing the company to his A-list friends like the iconic Queen of Christmas and travel trendsetter Mariah Carey.

In images shared to both the Papa Don’t Preach songstress and the producer’s Instagram accounts, Kelly presented Jeff with the enormous dessert.
It was decorated with social media posts by celebrities who’d stayed in Airbnb properties, including Kim Kardashian, the Jonas Bros, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and many more.
The cake was also adorned with the words ‘Congrats on Airbnb Beacher We Love You’.
Putting safety first, The Osbournes star donned a face mask and latex gloves for the presentation at Jeff’s swanky Beverly Hills home.

According to Bloomberg, Beacher as the consultant helped Airbnb become part of Hollywood culture in its early years by bringing stars like Mariah Carey into the company fold.
The Queen of Christmas famously gushed about her Malibu Airbnb rental to her fans in 2015, cementing the company as a luxury brand favored by celebrities.
Soon the Kardashians, Lady Gaga and more followed, all posting about their positive experiences with the travel rental startup to their massive fan bases.
Airbnb’s Thursday IPO more than doubled from $68 per share at the start of the day to $145 by close.
The company is now worth more than Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt combined.

Osbourne recently suffered a health scare, initially suspecting her bronchitis may have been COVID-19 symptoms.
Speaking from her rest bed last week, Kelly emphasised how bad she was feeling and said: ‘And this isn’t even COVID. My heart goes out to every single person who has COVID right now.’
