Man is stabbed to death outside Debenhams in Harrow and two other people are hurt as police launch murder probe

  • A man thought to be in his 20s was stabbed to death in Harrow on Sunday night 
  • Police and paramedics rushed to the scene near St Ann’s Shopping Centre 
  • Two more males, thought to be teenagers, were found with stab wounds nearby

A man in his 20s has died and two others are in hospital after a triple stabbing in north-west London last night sparked a murder investigation.

Police and paramedics rushed to St Anns Road in Harrow just after 7pm on Sunday after a man was found with stab injuries.

Despite the best efforts of London Ambulance Service paramedics, the man, thought to be in his 20s, died. 

Forensic crews set up outside Debenhams, near St Anns Shopping Centre, as Scotland Yard investigated the murder.

The victim was found with stab injuries along with two other males, thought to be teens, outside Harrow's Debenhams outlet

Two further males – both believed aged in their late teens – also suffered stab injuries. 

They are both at hospital receiving treatment, their condition is not yet known.

Crime scenes remain in place in and around the St Anns Road and Station Road area.

Enquiries into the circumstances continue.

Local police have enforced a Section 60 notice for the entire borough of Harrow, lasting until 10.49am on Monday morning.

The order gives officers the right to stop and search people where they believe serious violence could take place, or that a person is carrying an offensive weapon.

The order also allows searches in the event that: ‘An incident involving serious violence has taken place and a dangerous instrument or offensive weapon used in the incident is being carried in the locality.’
