The reality TV star would not be the first individual from The Bachelor series to appear on Dancing With The Stars if she were to be selected for the longstanding reality competition series.

Trista Sutter, who was the first Bachelorette, was selected to compete in the inaugural season of the dancing show and came in sixth place.

Melissa Rycroft, a competitor on the 13th season of The Bachelor, finished in third place in Dancing With The Star’s eighth season; she returned for the All-Stars season and took home first prize.

With regard to Adams’ final decision on the program, Clark spoke about communicating his feelings with his now-fiancee and how he was happy to take their relationship to the next level.

‘My mindset the entire time was I had to trust Tayshia to do what we had to do to get us to where we need to get to…we’ve had some conversations that were really helpful. I’m confident in our love for each other.’

She noted that Clark’s rapport with her family was what convinced her that he was the right choice, stating: ‘The interaction with them, that solidified everything, was the push I needed to make my decision.’

Adams also noted that although she and her 36-year-old fiancee lived on opposite sides of the country, the two were determined to make things work out with their cohabiting situation.

She added, ‘We’re going to do a little bicoastal action…I’ll still be here in Orange County, I’ll be in New York a little bit. We are just going to have fun, enjoy this engaged life and see where the fun brings us.’

Adams first gained notice for her appearances on the 23rd season of The Bachelor and season six of the spinoff series Bachelor In Paradise.

During the run of the most recent season of The Bachelorette she was chosen to replace Clare Crawley, who became engaged to Dale Moss partway through.
