Arnold Schwarzenegger says Chris Pratt is ‘such a great son-in-law’ and ‘so easy to get along with’

Arnold Schwarzenegger has nothing but praise for his son-in-law Chris Pratt.

The Hollywood action hero, 73, appeared in a Kindergarten Cop Zoom reunion stream hosted by Yahoo Entertainment Monday to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the film’s December 1990 theatrical release.

In the reunion, Schwarzenegger, who played Detective John Kimble in the movie, opened up on his fondness for the Guardians of the Galaxy star, 41.

The latest: Arnold Schwarzenegger, 73, praised his son-in-law Chris Pratt, 41, in a Kindergarten Cop Zoom reunion stream, calling him ‘a fantastic guy, and so easy to get along with’

‘Chris is a fantastic guy, and so easy to get along with,’ Schwarzenegger said. ‘He’s been such a wonderful husband and a great son-in-law.’

Schwarzenegger also spoke about becoming a grandparent for the first time earlier this year when Pratt and his daughter Katherine, 31, welcomed daughter Lyla in August.

‘They always say it’s the most fun thing to be a grandfather, because you have no responsibility,’ he said. ‘As soon as my daughter gave birth to this beautiful baby girl, I got hundreds of gifts and I didn’t do anything!

‘That’s why it’s great to be a grandfather, because you get all the credit and so many gifts and good wishes, but no responsibility.’

The Hollywood veteran said he was surprised that Katherine married an actor after growing up amid show business.

‘I said to myself, “She probably will be sick and tired of being dragged to sets,”‘ he said. ‘We were in the middle of shooting Terminator 2, and she saw me with half of my face gone and all this kind of weird make-up. She started screaming and crying on the set, because she did not understand why Daddy looked like that!’

The bodybuilding icon – who’s also father to Christina, 29, Patrick, 27, and Christopher and Joseph Baena, both 23 – had kind words talking about Pratt in August while speaking with Fox 11.

‘He’s very, very disciplined with his work, he’s wonderful to Katherine, and to [ex-wife Maria Shriver], and to me, and we have a great relationship with him, he’s really a great, great guy,’ he said.
