Married At First Sight’s Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant joke their son Ollie has had ‘too many bottles of the white stuff’ after their lavish Christmas celebrations on the Northern Beaches

Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant may have been in lockdown on Sydney’s Northern Beaches over Christmas but they made the most of it. 

On Tuesday, the Married at First Sight stars – along with their baby son, Ollie, were recovering after Boxing Day. 

Jules, 37, and Cam, 36, shared a photo to Instagram of the trio cuddled up together for a cute photo – however Ollie, two months, was drooling out a little spit up.

The new mother took it all in her stride, joking in the caption:  ‘Ollie after too many bottles of the finest white on Boxing Day’. 

On Christmas Day, Jules showed off the pair’s lavish celebrations at their Northern Beaches home in a series of Instagram photos. 

An elaborate marquee was set up in the backyard for a socially distanced dinner, complete with upmarket dishware, Christmas crackers and golden decorations.

In addition, there was a Bloody Mary cocktail station on offer, and a stunning outdoor chandelier to light up the canopy structure at night. 

Jules explained in her caption that her loved ones were not all able to come along due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions in the Northern Beaches following an outbreak in the area. 

The underwear designer wrote in her caption: ‘Merry Xmas to all! I hope you all had a great day.   

‘I woke up today thinking about my Nanna and how she would host Christmas day when I was a little girl with 30 + guest some years. I needed a 3.5 power nap with 10!

Nap time! Jules said that she needed a 'power' nap after hosting ten people for the upmarket celebration. Over Christmas, residents in southern part of the northern beaches area were allowed to have 10 people at their homes

‘My immediate family couldn’t make it because of the restrictions but it was a fabulous all the same and we will all be together next year to do it all again, drink too much, eat too much, and be merry!’ 

Over Christmas, residents in the northern region of the northern beaches could not region but could have five people visit their home, provided they were from the same area.

Residents in the southern part of the northern beaches area were allowed to have 10 people at their homes, plus children aged under 12.
