Katherine Schwarzenegger shared a sweet mother-daughter snap from her daughter Lyla’s very first road trip.
In the photo, baby Lyla rested inside an animal print sling worn by her beaming mother.
The four-month-old was bundled up in a white beanie and onesie as she nestled against her mother beside a stunning view of the ocean blue.

Katherine couldn’t have looked any happier as she posed upon the damp sand wearing a beanie, coat, and baggy jeans.
‘Took the baby on our first road trip and wow is there a lot to bring! Between the pumping gear and baby gear there’s quite a bit, but you learn a lot about what you REALLY need after your first trip!’ Katherine wrote in the caption, along with a list of helpful baby items.
Katherine has been sharing a slew of snippets from her road trip with baby Lyla and husband Chris Pratt this past weekend.
On Saturday morning the author and podcast host was up bright and early on a walk, as she took to Instagram to speak about the experience with ‘all the mamas out there.’

Reporting live from the desert, Schwarzenegger credited the chic Bugaboo stroller for ease of traveling and also said that she would be sharing a list of packing essentials for other mothers with newborns.
Dressed down in a black tank top, a black cap and a matching face mask, Katherine looked sporty as she spoke to her followers.
She said that she found her particular stroller to be very entertaining for Lyla as it provided a dual calming and entertainment mechanism on account of the cover’s design which featured tiny umbrellas.

Speaking about the trendy stroller – which has a base price of $1,200 – she said, ‘Note to all the mamas out there We just did our first road trip with the baby and brought this stroller…and I don’t know if it was intentional…to make this cover so entertaining for babies but its amazing on a walk and keeps them so entertained.’
She also shared that it allowed for ease of travel because Lyla’s car seat could attach easily into the stroller base.

The family has made safety during the pandemic a priority and have barely traveled at all – if only by car.

She and husband of a year Pratt rang in 2021 with a beach walk as they brought Lyla out for some seaside air before they got on the road.
Katherine shared a family selfie as they basked in the peace of the ocean and looked toward the new year.
‘Closing out 2020 with a quiet beach walk (and a first beach experience for one of us)’, she wrote.
The very private family has never shared pictures of Lyla on social media, making this glimpse of the back of her head a first.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy star and Schwarzenegger first wed in June 2019 and brought Lyla into the world in August.
The pair credits their faith and family values in giving them a foundation for a lasting relationship as the pair swiftly got engaged after six months of dating.
Recently her dad Arnold publicly gave his approval on his son-in-law as he said that he ‘never, ever thought’ she would ‘marry an actor’ before he gushed:
‘Chris is a fantastic guy and so easy to get along with and so I’m really happy because he has been such a really wonderful, wonderful husband to her and such a great son-in-law,’ he said during a Kindergarten Cop Zoom reunion stream hosted by Yahoo Entertainment.
