His former wife Gwen Stefani recently obtained an annulment of their marriage from the Roman Catholic Church.

And on Sunday, Gavin Rossdale headed to a mall in LA with his son Zuma, 12, one of three boys he shares with Stefani.

The British musician, most famous for being the frontman for Bush, was affectionate with his middle child as they made their way into the shopping center.

Stefani is a devout Catholic and in March 2019, she had sought an annulment, which would mean that in the eyes of the Catholic church, it would be as if her marriage to Rossdale had never happened.

It means she is able to marry again in a church service and have the union recognized by the church.

However, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to put a dent in her plans to have a wedding in front of family and friends along with a reception.

‘Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted,’ a source explained to UsWeekly.
