Meanwhile, filmmaker Zack Snyder has been talking up the possibility of making a new movie centered on Marvel Comic character Elektra.

He shared with Comic Book Debate last week he’s keen to helm a film based on the 1990 graphic novel Elektra Lives Again.

The story by Frank Miller and Lynn Varney, follows Elektra Natchios, who was played on screen by Garner in the 2005 Daredevil spinoff Elektra.

‘Daredevil is having these dreams about Elektra coming back to life, and it’s really cool and weird…,’ Snyder explained. ‘It’s just cool, and beautiful. That’s what I would do. No one cares, but that’s what I would do.’

Snyder’s Director’s Cut of DC Comics’ Justice League, which will be presented as a four-hour mini-series, is set to debut on HBO Max in March.
